The beaches of Tenerife

Tenerife’s beaches are remarkably varied: stretches of golden sand such as Las Teresitas, Las Vistas and Playa del Duque, black volcanic sand beaches such as Playa Jardín and Playa de la Arena, and wild corners such as Benijo and Playa de Masca. Many have a Blue Flag and calm water thanks to breakwaters, while El Médano attracts kitesurfers and windsurfers.
