Playa Los Abriguitos

Brown sand, rocks and waves at Playa Los Abriguitos, on the coast of Abades

This beach lies in the village of Abades, in the municipality of Arico on the south coast of Tenerife, and is easy to reach by car (there is a large car park nearby).

The beach has very fine, light brown sand of volcanic origin, and although the area is windy, the sea here tends to be calm.

It is well known to divers, who come here for the beautiful seabed waiting to be explored.

It suits the whole family, whether for sunbathing or for a relaxing swim. Close by there are bars, restaurants and supermarkets.

There is also a bay that forms a small beach at low tide, perfect for anyone who loves privacy.

A scenic path links Playa Los Abriguitos with Playa Los Cardones, which is also in the municipality of Arico.
