Playa del Duque

Straw parasols and white beach huts on the golden sand of Playa del Duque, Costa Adeje

Playa del Duque lies in the south of Tenerife, in the famous resort of Costa Adeje. It is a beautiful golden-sand beach, very popular with tourists all year round.

The ocean water is crystal clear, and this is one of the least windy areas of the island. The sea is also very calm, as breakwaters have been built to stop rough waves from disturbing bathers.

The beach has every kind of facility: sun lounger and parasol hire, showers, sports equipment rental, a lifeguard station and disabled access. It has been awarded the Blue Flag.

The beach is in the renowned resort of Costa Adeje, one of the areas most appreciated by discerning visitors. A beautiful seafront promenade lets you take in the spectacular coastline, relax and savour the magic of this enchanting, atmospheric spot.

Close by there is plenty of accommodation: luxury hotels, aparthotels and apartments to rent.
