Playa Los Cristianos

Calm, clear water at Playa Los Cristianos, with bathers, golden sand and buildings

Playa Los Cristianos is in the town of the same name, in the municipality of Arona in the south of Tenerife.

The beach has golden sand and calm water, thanks to its breakwaters. With the area’s mild climate, it suits families, young people and older visitors at any time of year.

It offers a full range of facilities: sun lounger and parasol hire, showers, toilets, sports equipment, disabled access and a lifeguard station.

It is an ideal spot for lovers of water sports and other activities, with bike hire available (there are sailing and diving schools as well as volleyball nets on the beach).

Also worth a mention is the lovely seafront promenade, where you’ll find a range of businesses: restaurants, disco bars and bazaars of every kind.

There is a large pay car park nearby, and you can also reach Los Cristianos by public transport.
