Playa de Fañabé

Playa de Fañabé from the promenade, with palm trees, bathers and Costa Adeje’s hotels

Playa Fañabé lies in the south of Tenerife, in Costa Adeje. It borders Playa Torviscas, and together the two form a single stretch of beach. It has been awarded the Blue Flag for the clarity of its water.

It has all the main facilities: parasol and sun lounger hire, showers, disabled access and lifeguards. It is ideal for couples and families, but also for water sports enthusiasts, and you can hire jet skis on site.

The beach has golden sand, is fairly sheltered from the wind and is protected by breakwaters, so you can enjoy a relaxing, peaceful swim, kissed by the sun.

A lovely promenade runs along the seafront, with enchanting views. On particularly clear days you can see the neighbouring island of La Gomera.

The area offers countless places to stay: luxury hotels, apartment complexes and holiday apartments.

Just a short walk from the beach you’ll find businesses of every kind: restaurants, bars, kiosks, disco bars and bazaars for holiday shopping.

Playa Fañabé is in Costa Adeje, one of the most popular resorts in Tenerife. After a day in the sun, if you enjoy a night out, we recommend nearby Las Américas and Los Cristianos, where entire streets are devoted to nightlife that carries on into the small hours.
